shanmonster | I Need a New One. There's a Big Crack Down This One.

shanmonsterass. It's missing my favourite ass word--callipygous--but I guess that just gives my butt something to work on.

I received my corset bra and belt kits in the mail today from

meddevi. If I ever get around to finishing my PVC/silk top, I'm going to make a belt to match. I'm having a heck of a time finding eyelet/grommet tape, though. It shouldn't be this difficult. Fabricville in Fredericton had it in big spools. I'd like to have a big spool of it, because I have other projects I also want to work on (like a fringe skirt made from grommet tape, for instance).

But I'm also working on that glam teal/silver/gold mermaid skirt. All I have to do is put an elastic in the skirt and straighten up the hem, and it's done. Well, except that I think I'll add a hip drape or swag, because right now the lining is just too linear. I need some diagonal action to juice it all up. The drape I'm thinking of will be much like Rachel Brice's in this poster, albeit not with tulle bi telli. What colour shall I use? Gold would look nice, but I'm not sure I have the right sort. I'll have to peek through my scraps. There may be some left over from my pantaloons.

By the way, Rachel wears my favourite kind of boots: Fluevogs. I stopped in the Fluevog store the last time I was in Toronto and whimpered mightily. The store clerks didn't even acknowledge my presence, but that's just as well. I'm positively impoverished!

This, by the by, is the lamest concept bicycle I've seen in a long time. Possibly ever.
