I don't know how your New Year's Eve went, but mine was spent in part watching ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
f00dave trying to learn to belch. He went to extreme measures, chugging Eno, then jumping up and down a lot to make sure the fizz was in full effect. He tried doing crunches, and I had him on the floor doing a few Pilates moves which always make me burp. Alas, but there were no burps. He gurgled a lot, and expended a lot of effort in his fight against hurling. Eventually we watched this, which although impressive and entertaining, wasn't educational enough for f00.
Maybe he'll learn to burp this year.
This morning, I watched this video on the rescue of over a hundred trapped horses in the Netherlands. It made me happy, and also made me remember all the free-ranging ponies of rural Newfoundland. I wonder if the ponies still roam free there?
