When It Rains....

Much to my surprise, Dad's going in for triple bypass heart surgery next week. This is all complicated by his being a Jehovah's Witness. So no blood transfusions, natch. If the surgery goes without a hitch, he'll be fine. But considering the no-blood rule, if things don't, he's pretty much toast.

Fuck. I may have to fly up to be with my Mom. She's all by herself.

That sucks, Shan. I know how you feel though--My mom went through an incredibly complicated hysterectomy (due to massive cysts) with no blood transfusions. I hope your dad comes through as well as my mom did.
