I am on hold with student loans. They are playing "This Kiss, THIS KISS". It's driving me mental.
I was on hold for ten minutes when they hung up on me. This is my second go-round.
Why am I calling? I'm calling because I paid off my student loan a month ago, only to find out they didn't accept my money. I'm still being charged interest and minimum payments despite having already paid off my loan.
I hate student loans. Never get one. If you can't afford tuition without a loan, audit classes. Sneak onto campus and take notes at the back of lecture halls. Spend your time at libraries. But don't let the government lend you money. They will find a way to fuck you over.
Oh. No more country. Now my hold music is Rob D./Moby. That's better. But it doesn't mitigate the bullshit I keep having to go through. Gah!

Ok. Good news. They've finally accepted my money. I'm officially paid off.

My yesterday was a good yesterday. ATS practice was a lot of fun, if disorganized. We couldn't remember most of the cues, but we did remember many of the combinations. I ended up leading most of the practice, which was a bit disconcerting. Apparently, the three ATS workshops I've taken make me the senior ATS dancer. Next time we get together, I'm bringing in a DVD with cues on it. That way we can have a lot more structure to what we're doing. Still, we had a lot of fun, and did get plenty of group dancing in.
I'm supposed to dance at an event in Stratford this weekend, but none of the organizers have contacted me, and I have no idea how I'm supposed to get there. I've sent an email out to another dancer who I know will be performing there asking for contact information, but if I don't hear back, I think the show will not happen for me. It's certainly too far to walk, and I don't want to have to go there in the morning to perform at night. I don't even know how long a dance they want me to do. Argh!
That reminds me. I need to get my performance music burned to a cd for my show in Quebec next month. I'm dancing to Android Lust....

i know you arent a doc, but fig you might have a hint of insight?
