Last night I set the Royal Ontario Museum on fire.

It's ok, though. I didn't burn any important artifacts.

My roleplaying life is a lot more exciting than my real one, hmm?

But in my real life, last night I taught my last dance class of the session. I had my students play dance tag while balancing balls on their heads. It was a hoot! Everyone's posture and isolation skills improved dramatically, and they didn't even notice because they were busy playing. Ha ha ha. I tricked them into learning something difficult. Muahahahaha.....

1. I find that the lullaby versions of these rock songs sound creepy i.e. their version of "Closer" sounds like a track from "The Omen"!:)
2. Too bad they don't make Voco clocks for womyn. I would very much like to hear a man call me "Mistress"!:)
3. I never believe these "OMG-I-Didn't-Know-I-Was-Pregnant-'Til-A-Head-Popped-Out-Of-My-Crotch" stories. I get the whole business about the irregular menstrual cycle and the layers of fat, blah, blah, blah...but how can you not tell that a whole other human being is growing inside of you?!?!?! I have so many physiological questions that I need answered before I can accept this.
4. The only thing better than a loaf of meat is a cake of meat. Mmm. Meat.

OH MY GOODNESS! :D

I've been reading the LJ of a fellow LARPer without knowing it! What kind of a larp are you in? New edition, or the previous one? What clan are you? Is the game any good? Where do you guys meet for elysiums? Are they accepting new players? Does it cost anything? Am I right in assuming that I sound like i'm a teenyweeny bit in dire withdrawal of LARPness? :D

Actually, I don't LARP. This is tabletop. I'm playing a 7th-gen, 800-year old Malkavian historian. It started as a Dark Ages game around 1190, and we're currently in 1991. My character, Margd, is very anachronistic, at this point. She's excited because she figured out how to use telephones, and trains no longer worry her.

However, I do know of a Vampire LARP that goes on in Waterloo. It's only around $3 a pop, or so. If you want to know more about it, you should contact wildelf. He's one of the storytellers, and I believe he's looking for new players.

I could tell you my clan, but that would spoil all the fun. ;) The only clan you won't be able to play is Malkavian (either storyteller can tell you why). Everything else should be okay...

I think so. And a lot of us are older players who have no patience for power gamers and OOG drama. It killed the experience for a lot of us, so this game is free of such wankery.
