It's official. Scroffy has moved in. Last night, for the first time, he spent the night ensconced in my windowsill. He's there again, right now. When I turn the bedroom light on, he opens a bleary eye and stares at me. If I walk over to the window, he might coo sleepily or ruffle his feathers. Mostly, he just keeps sleeping.
On Sunday, I'm roasting up one of his cousins. I'm going to make a turkey feast! I sure do love turkey, and it's been too long since I last had it. I'll roast it up with all the fixings: sweet potato, carrot, butternut squash, cranberry, potato, pickle, beet, and general yumminess! f00 carried the turkey home from the grocery store, tonight. In one hand, he carried the dead, eviscerated, decapitated bird. In the other hand, he carried a large bag of birdseed.
