Dance, Dance, Wherever You May Be

Last night I decided to take up modern/lyrical dance again, so I trundled off to the studio only to discover I'd misread the schedule. So I ended up at a hiphop class. I was dubious at first. The only other hiphop classes I've taken didn't appeal to me all that much. But I really enjoyed myself at this class, in spite of the horrendous music, so I'll be going back. Those booty pops are sassy.

Next week, I'll do both the hiphop and the modern/lyrical. I'm going to dance until dance comes out my ears.

Plastic Ocean: Plastic never goes away. I try to use as little of it as I can, but by myself, it's not enough. I remember going to Halifax Harbour and seeing miles of beach covered with bottles, bags, and tampon applicators. One poor seal swam amongst the bobbing mess.

Wittol: I learned a new word yesterday. A wittol is a contented cuckold. I like that!

Early rising no good for the heart: This looks like a mostly useless study, to me. They even admit the results may be skewed by the age of the participants. So get out of bed, you lazy bugger (thanks, f00dave).

The mother who suckles pet monkey: With pictures. I find it interesting that sharing body fluids with critters are demonstrated with photos only when it involves secondary sexual characteristics, and not the primary ones. Hmm....

Jesus Christ: Serial Rapist: NSFW. Apparently, this is a real movie (thanks, gha5t).

Blind Date: Alien vs. Predator Edition: Maybe this will be the storyline for the new AvP flick coming out this year!

Mary Ellen Donald Plays Cymbals: She's damned good.

Armed for first day of school: Most kids need a lunchbox, pens and pencils, and a couple of binders for school. Some also need shotguns (thanks, revdeadcorpse).

i hope it occurred to anyone who said 'Uurghh!' at this that almost all humans, at least in the west, do the same with cattle (and sometimes goats, sheep etc.). Drinking milk is a pretty perverse way for any adult mammal to get nutrition, let alone the milk of a different species. Give it a little thought and, contrary to your upbringing, you might realise what a strange thing it is to do. I should confess that I eat some dairy myself - I use butter and sometimes eat cheese, though I use soya milk (not a particularly natural product itself), but that's probably because I was put off milk when I was a schoolkid and we were daily feed small cartons of milk which had been left in the sun all morning. I volunteered to be a milk monitor so I could get out of drinking the foul muck.
