20 Years Ago, I... was a total spaz in high school, albeit a nerdy one. I was part of the Academic League, on the Reach for the Top team, and placing in provincial science fairs for my research on HIV. I had no real friends aside from a few penpals and my horses, dogs, and cats.

15 Years Ago, I... was in my third year of studies at the University of New Brunswick. I was DJing at the alternative radio station, volunteering at the Laubach Literacy Council, and working part-time at the UNB Art Centre. I was heavily involved in the local theatre scene, as an actor, a playwright, a sound manager, and as a theatre critic. I was also the editor of the English department newsletter.

10 Years Ago, I... was managing a comic/game shop and playing Magic about five hours a day, seven days a week. I competed in tournaments, where I was doing very well for myself. I had also just started taking dance lessons.

5 Years Ago, I... was the music director for an alternative radio station, and was regularly taking propanalol for my migraines. The die effect of the medication was a profound loss of energy, but despite this, I was studying several martial arts and teaching several dance classes on a weekly basis.

2 Years Ago, I... decided that I really didn't want to be a goldsmith, and that the constant exposure to highly toxic chemicals wasn't something I wanted to continue with. I dropped out of the metals programme at the college, and started working at a call centre to pay off my student loans. I taught myself how to spin poi, and I got good at it rather quickly.

1 Year Ago, I... was working at Tim Horton's. It sucked almost as much as working at the call centre.

So far this year, I've... had numerous dance performances in Ontario and Quebec. I discovered that after thirty-odd years, I finally like beer.

Yesterday, I... did a couple hours of kung fu, including a half hour or so of Filipino stick fighting, I biked for an hour, I taught a floorwork class, and I watched a documentary on heavy metal with James and [livejournal.com profile] schwartzung.

Today, I... bought cranberries and a turkey in preparation for the Thanksgiving feast on Sunday. I am sore from teaching the floorwork class, and cycling to and from the grocery store required more effort than usual. I'm getting ready to bike to work at the costume shop.

Tomorrow, I'll... bake a couple of pumpkin pies, and prepare the cranberry sauce for Sunday. If I have time, I'll also continue work on my leather armour.

What about you?

This weekend, I'll... feast.

20 years ago: I was in grade 6. I was kinda geeky, and didn't fit in well at school.

15 years ago: I was in High School, going through culture shock of switching from a High School of 300 to a school of 4000. I was still geeky, but in the Art Club at school, working at McDonald's and coping with dating for the first time in my life.

10 years ago: I was in College, working part time in the comic store a few days a week.

5 years ago: I was finishing up working in a purse store, starting work piercing ears at a new store and moving back in with my parents, again...

2 years ago: I was cleaning a military hospital, saving money for my big trip to Arizona and Japan, and playing computer games.

1 year ago: I was engaged, living with my fiance, getting used to not being in Canada.

Yesterday: I played in a magic tournament, worried about fainting at said tournament, and junked out at Burger King.

Today: I had to wake up at 3 am because Stowaway decided I needed to throw up. I might go to the hospital later on for testing, and meds.

Tomorrow: I will have to see what my tummy lets me do.
