In completely unrelated news, I'm still looking into doing an Asian dance extravaganza in Toronto come January. I want to take a weekend workshop in Cambodian dance followed by a week-long workshop in Butoh. I may never move the same way again.
Somewhere in there, I also want to do a gothic belly dance workshop with Ariellah, although I may have to skip that one. Around these parts, belly dance workshops are a LOT more expensive than workshops in other dance styles. I'm really not sure why this is. Good thing her DVD isn't overly expensive. I think I'll have to suffice with that and with secondhand knowledge from fellow dancers who get to study with her.
Santa? I still want these for my personal study:
Contemporary Bellydance and Yoga Conditioning with Ariellah
Rachel Brice: Bellydance Arms and Posture
Tribal Fusion Bellydance with Sharon Kihara
Tribal Fusions: Exotic Art of Tribal Bellydance
Bellydance - Tribal Fusion NYC
Gothic Bellydance - Revelations
Pop, Lock & Shimmy: Drum Solo Technique & Choreography
See how economically they're priced?
