I haven't done one of these in too long.

This clip shows Lady Morrigan's entry in the Belly Dancer of the Universe competition in 2006. The first part of her modern tribal dance incorporates elements of story-telling. The second part is just happy as heck. I really like her costuming, too.

That skirt is really pretty. It took me a moment to figure out how it was made, but it really is quite simple (if a metric assload of fabric).

Yay Morrigan! That is really how she dances all of the time - so fun and full of energy. She likes to tell stories when she dances. One of the funniest pieces was a couple of halloweens ago when she and her troupe danced to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
