Ra'asa Naemet Mokhtar is the dancer in today's clip. It seems like standard golden age belly dance until about halfway through when she does a mind-boggling circling backbend. That just doesn't seem possible without unscrewing one's spinal column!

That is how I want to dance. I mean, I can take or leave being able to do the backbend, whatever--but that style? That's how I want to dance.

holy shit! LOVE IT! It's hard to tell b/c of the editing and skirt...I almost want to say it was faked a bit b/c of the way it's cropped...I could do that kneeling, but not standing!
