In case I haven't mentioned, I've been extremely busy, even for me.
This weekend, I'm performing at Inversion: Rewind, an evening of tribal & alternative belly dance hosted by The Dark Side Studio and Cleopatra's Bazaar.

I've also been working my ass off booking bands for The Savage Garden and promoting DSoL.
And I've been helping set up the third annual K-W Metalfest.

And on top of it all, I'll soon be working on other projects more intently, including (but certainly not limited to) the Hamilton Zombie Walk, an upcoming tribute to the Sisters of Mercy show, a nation-wide charity fund-raiser metal event, the H-427 and Left Spine Down tour, a fund-raiser burlesque show, a fire troupe (fire dance and pyrotechnics), photo shoots, and plenty more dance stuff. I'll post more information on these projects as it comes along.
I'd really appreciate it, as would the other performers, if you'd frequent our events! Keep the alternative dance and music scene alive and thriving. Put food and beer in our bellies, give to charity, and get some outstanding entertainment while you do it.
.....
And now, because my intertubes are full, here is your regularly-scheduled link dump:
Wikiversity: I'll be checking this out more fully once my workload has eased up somewhat. I miss school (thanks, Chase)!
Surinam Toad Babies Emerging: Oh wow. I want a pet toad like this. Fascinating and grotesque, all at the same time.
Kung Fu Bear: This bear is a master of the staff.
The Jewelry of Alexander Calder: Nice collection of handmade jewellery. I love the hand-tooled look of a lot of this, and some of it reminds me of my own designs.
WTF Optical Illusions: I'm familiar with several of these, but there are a few new ones. Brilliant stuff, and there are more to see in the comments that follow.
Ok. Gotta run.
