Oh thank fuck.

My parents left this morning. They're my parents, and they were definitely a huge part of what shaped me into the bizarre person I am today, but holy crap, do they ever spike my blood pressure.

Time for a silly meme:

Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done.
- See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." If they have, you need to add another!(2.b., 2.c., etc...)
- Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life.

1. Was the flat-chested demo model for a medical video on breast self-exams.
2. Went to a truck-stop restaurant "dressed" as a naked dark elf.
3. Nearly drowned in a septic tank.

Go.

I've been to a grocery store 'dressed' as a naked lizardwoman. Possible also a convenience store. Does that count?

This is exactly how I feel about my parents, too....

Hey, I just friended you. I'm Greta. Are you the one who used to have that awesome site on the witch craze? I used to love that site.
Anyway I'm 22, attending college and majoring in Japanese, and live with my girlfriend in Massachusetts. Nice to meet you!

And how the hell did you manage to nearly drown in a septic tank? That sounds horrific.

3 Things

1. My Dad used to use me for alligator bait when we lived in Hudson, FL.
2. Had strep throat for approximately a week, got better for a week, then got it again the next week. 14 days in a 21 day period.
3. Survived a 106 fever as a child and several more of 104+ degrees. (One during the second strep throat incident.)

1. Crawled through Japanese and American WWII Caves on Lily Hill at Clark AFB, Philippines.

2. Rode a Motorcycle from Commerce to Marfa to see the Mystery Lights.

3. Stood in Stonehenge during a foggy sunrise in 1967.

I'm coming into this quite late, but here they are anyway.

1) Won the NES game Contra by using only one guy.
2) Named all my children using two middle names for each (my wife got the first name, I got the middle two for all but one. I got the first name and she got one of the middle ones.)
3) Went on a yellowjacket killing rampage at a McDonald's dumpster on a cool October day while still in highschool. They were sluggish due to the chill and I must have bagged over 100 of them within my 10 minute death dance.
