Mine does that sometimes.

But it usually means it's just lulling me into a false sense of security, only to mindfuck me totally at some crucial time.

It's an epidemic. My monitor just randomly started greening on me a few days ago. I had another one do this once too -- just did it more and more often until it finally started losing another color too (IIRC, this is loss of magenta) and became impossible to see.
