Sorry to post this twice; I wasn't sure if I sent this message right the first time; feel free to delete.
I'm a junior illustration major at the Maryland Institute College of art, and I've been reading your stuff since the sixth grade. I had an opportunity to draw a short comic based on a true story, and your story about Carla really stuck with me (I was constantly bullied by a girl I was forced to hang out with in my childhood, who also stole my toys. She never died, though). I condensed the whole thing into a couple of sentences and drew a four page comic, and posted it to my site. I'm not making any money off of it, it's just for my portfolio (and for school credit) but I thought you might like to see:

While you're there, I would love to hear any feedback you'd be willing to spare over my portfolio, it's in the Art section.
Cheers,
