The washing machine repair guy came over. His name is Chris, and he's really nice. We talked about music while he worked on the machine. He figured out the problem was a loose wire when the machine was reassembled yesterday, and didn't charge me anything for the service call. Yay!
So now I have a working washing machine, and have gone berserk! I took off all my clothes and threw them in the machine. I am currently on my fourth load, and I might do two more loads before the day is out. The place is strewn with clean wet clothes.
