shanmonster: (Tiger claw)
My least favourite song.

There are many to choose from, but this one has bothered me for years, and I was subjected to it time and time again when I simply could not escape it: while figure modeling for artists.

Ugh. Can't stand it. UGH!

I used to like it, but I was about ten and rather a fan of the book, and I hadn't heard any actual opera yet. It sure was the 80s, wasn't it.

WTF? This is a common song for art classes? Weird.

No, just for this one particular instructor whose classes I modeled for. He played the soundtrack on repeat. Augh!

Oh my god. How awful.

I played this soundtrack on repeat too - when I was 11. Phantom was my first "grown up play". :) Now, I can't imagine listening to that soundtrack again...and I also feel like I should send apology letters to my parents for subjecting them to a year of staccato keyboards and excessive Sarah Brightman.

In my initial days at a publishing house, where I was all 'ooh, I can boot up with a song', I used the original Fugue in D Minor opening. It was that, or Ride of the Valkyries. I'm sure I was annoying to more than one co-worker.

But this.. this.. :pop: (mind boggles)
every day? I'd kill.
