Just so you know, a miniature LotR reunion will be happening at the filming of Seed of Chucky. This sequel, about the hermaphroditic offspring of Chucky and the Bride of Chucky, will feature Wormtongue and Pippin. Wormtongue isn't new to the Chucky series. He's been the voice all along. But now a young fool of a Took will be playing Chucky's child. Will wonders never cease?
Not that schlock is a far stretch for much of the cast and crew. After all, Peter Jackson got his start with ultra-gory comedies, and Christopher Lee is king of B-movies.
I'm still awaiting a phone call which will let me know whether or not I'm dancing at the Legion today. If it were a bit nicer out, I'd walk, but it's really wet, and I don't want to carry my stereo while dressed in bedlah through the slushy streets of downtown Fredericton. I'll be cabbing it, if it's on.
Over the past few days, I've been working on another dance bra. This one is handpainted, and in shades of pink, crimson, and gold, with black accents. I didn't like the sound beads made on the last one I created, so this one will have soft tassel fringe for trim. I'd like to finish it today, but we'll see how things go. I'll have to locate some black cotton, first.
I'm still on my vintage photo bender, and I'll be posting plenty of interesting pictures in the days to come. I recently found a score of dance photos from the 1920s featuring jazz dancers, flappers, belly dancers, ballerinas, etcetera.
Oop. I just got the phone call. I'm on at 3:00.
