How many of you are still with me on the 100-day push-up challenge? Today's my day 53. Here I am doing ten diamond push-ups. My form gets a bit saggy by the tenth one. I'm hoping that by day 100, I'll be able to keep perfect form a lot longer.
I can no longer do pushups due to arthritis in my shoulders (runs in the family), however, I found that if I changed my hand position (closer together, further apart, fingers pointing in a different direction, etc) after every 10 pushups, not only could I do more at a session, but my form was better and I gained a lot of flexibility and more usable strength. I also did them with my feet on a bench, then my hands on the corer of the bench, and got up to 35 fingertip pushups once. Can't recommend that as the gains were no better than any other pushup, and there are way better finger strength exercises out there.
OK, I have to ask: What's the deal with Winston Spear? The running (pun intended) gag might have been funny at first, but now it's just irritating and demotivating. (as is the atrocious spelling and random punctuation, but those are probably just me)
