...is worth two in the nest. Behold! Japscat and Bukkake, in all their avian glory. Sorry about the arse view on one of them. Baby pigeons aren't exactly photogenic creatures.

[Japscat and Bukkake]
This picture was taken last week. The guys are looking a little less like scrotums now, and more like birds. They actually have wing feathers, instead of that horrific dirty yellow fuzz. It's still too early to tell if they'll have beautiful plumage, though....

Yep. And Japscat. Gotta cover my bases, after all.

I love the word "squab." Yours are... scrotal. Yes. Heh. But quite lovely, nonetheless. :)

It's a suitable word, I think. It's as ugly in sound as the birds are in appearance.

Ooh, and there is also a bit of onomatopoeia and other good wordplay going on. Squabs look like scrotums. Squab also sounds like quob. Quob means to throb or quiver, in an obscene way, much like scrotums might! And yes, squabs quob.

That is absolutely everything I never wanted to know about baby pigeons. :)

Squabs are also delicious, but please don't eat yours. I never like to meet my food socially.
