I just got off the phone with Guylaine. When she got the message saying f00 and I were coming to Montréal, she was so excited she forgot how to think. She tried phoning all sorts of people, but couldn't remember how numbers worked. Then she managed to phone me twice, collect, and in the space where it says "You have a collect call from -------. Press 1 to accept the charges," I heard her say, "Don't accept the charges! EEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

The second time she called, she babbled so quickly and at such a high frequency that I had absolutely no idea what she was saying. So I called her up, and she began hooting like a crazed rhesus monkey. When she finally calmed down a little, we made arrangements. I'll be staying at her place in Verdun. This will save us a bit of cash, because we were originally going to stay in residence at the university. And I'll get to see her "grandchildren." One of her cats has a litter of kittens. I love kittens. They're so intensely cute, it hurts my mind.

I wonder if f00 will be willing to do a photo shoot of Guylaine and me, for old times' sake....

Surprised?

After substantial contemplation, there's a good chance I will not be going back to school this fall. I can see myself pursuing studies in movement (ie. dance, martial arts, yoga, and the instruction of these things) before I can see myself making a career in creating silverware. The idea of making flatware really doesn't appeal to me, and that's one of the major focuses of third year metals. Soooo, where can I find an accredited school which will help me in the fields I do want to study? Probably not in Fredericton. I wonder if I can get grants for my education and the development of freestyle "choreography". Probably not without access to a video camera for the documentation of what I have been doing. But maybe photos and press releases are sufficient. I'll have to investigate further....

I'm planning a rather strange and dramatic dance for a big show in October. I want to do a lot of work focusing on my abdominal muscular control. I'm thinking of using a slim-fitting costume in dark browns, blacks, and possibly some peacock accents which leaves the abs and back completely bare. I think body paint in dark bronze, gold, and/or chocolatey-brown would go along well. Do you have any suggestions, or can you point me to some applicable photo galleries? What is the best way to highlight subtle muscular control for a large audience?
