Goodbye

I stayed up far too late watching The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (wow!), and when I awoke this morning, the phrase "vile prescriptivist" kept repeating in my mind. I have no idea what this means, or what the context is, but it was stuck in my mind like a skipping record. Any notions? I googled for it and found nothing.

Today I leave for the boondocks of the Miramichi. I expect the Internet hasn't yet been invented there, so don't expect any updates. I'll be assuaging my boredom with frequent reading, writing, game playing (Settlers, Trivial Pursuit, Carcassonne, and Populous on my laptop), and, if I can get the space, kung fu, dance, and callesthenics. I expect I'll be able to do dragons and pushups in the livingroom, at the very least.

They're good, but so pricey... milking the game for all it's worth, and our hapless wallets. At least they were anyways... don't know what prices are like nowadays.
