shanmonster: (For goodness sakes. I've got the....)
# I can rotate my feet inwards so they point straight behind me.
# When I was little, I used to wish I had three nostrils so there'd be more boogies to mine and eat.
# I married the only boyfriend I ever had.
# I can kick as high as I can reach.
# On a good day (there are few), I can hold my left foot higher than my head without using my arms.
# When I grow up, I want to be Vasquez from Aliens.
# I have a difficult time making friends.
# Although I'm a total exhibitionist, I prefer to spend the vast majority of my time by myself.
# I'm usually surprised/wary if someone compliments me.
# When I was in junior high school, I used to read (and finish) three books each day. Novels got a bit longer and tougher to read when I got older....
# I used to read books on horseback.
# I read while I walk.
# Although I've danced for years in a variety of styles, I can only dance improvisationally. Choreography eludes me.
# I once rode a billygoat through a barnyard.
# I more than once rode an enormous pig through a barnyard.
# I used to live off the land in the Rockies.
# I suffer from perpetual visual hallucinations courtesy of a bizarre variant of migraine.
# I think differently from anyone I've ever encountered. Really. I think the migraines may have something to do with it.
# I feel driven to work out, even though I'd rather lie around in bed and eat salted peanuts.
# I want to reboot my brain.
Are your hallucinations described by Synaesthesia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synaesthesia)?
No, not really. I don't see sound or smell green or anything like that. Although, now that I think about it, sometimes when people talk, my imagination sees all the words being printed out like cartoon word balloons. But it's an imagination thing, not something I actually "see."

My hallucinations basically look like subdued firework explosions, or, more often, like the top of a lake on a sunny day, when the light flashes and ripples in the breeze. Or it can look like oil moving across water. I've trained myself to ignore it, aside from the times when a "true" migraine impedes my ability to read or see things properly.
i see shadows moving, I think they are the faeries running amuck. And I don't get migraines :)
Sometimes I see shadows, but mostly I see light, or the utter absence of anything.
And I almost forgot.... I also see what looks like ropes or wires shooting out across in front of me. This generally happens late at night in relative darkness. It's one big reason why I'd never want to drive at night, unless it was an absolute emergency. The visions are very convincing, and I've jumped away from them on numerous occasions.

You could add that uniqueness of your dreams; how you don't have 'falling' dreams like a lot of other people do, things come at you instead.

I need to see the foot rotation thing, where does most of the rotation happen; hips, knees, or ankles?

Knees and ankles, IIRC. She's a mutant. ;-)

I hadn't thought that about my dreams, but you're right.

As f00 says, my feet turn at the ankle and knee. It's a hypermobility issue.
