First of all, I received a cookbook from ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dragonfish. It contains my recipe for Pumpkin Pie of Doom. She's selling the cookbooks as a fundraiser, so if you'd like to help New Zealand dancers out, go order one.
Secondly, when I got to work the other day, a big clay rooster was sitting on my desk. I can only guess this is the handicraft offreakwoman, who was telling me she needed a feather for something she was giving me. Indeed, he does have a feather sticking out of his butt, and he looks quite happy about it.
You know how when people shoot clay pigeons, someone yells, "Pull!"?
Well, when they shoot clay roosters, they yell "Poule!"
Yeah. I hate me, too.
Heh...
Work is busy again today, but not so bad as the last couple of days. Here's hoping it gets easier as the day goes on.
