Today I'm off to Toronto again, this time to go see the CanAsian International Dance Festival. If I'd had the money, I'd have been training with the butoh dancer, but it had to wait. At least I get to see him perform.

Tonight is also the night of a Rachel Brice performance. She comes to Toronto frequently enough that I'm sure I will get to see her. Soon, I hope, although studying with her remains elusive. Workshops with her often cost around $600, and that is about six times my budget. Bah.

I read about that Japanese fetish restaurant last week on Fark.com. It's sad that the traditional female work force there is mistreated and that their careers are so mundane and short-lived. The Japanese may be ahead of us in technology and industry, but their social values could use a little tuning.

Lady, You Rock! I first found your page years ago. Thank you for your costume design patterns. I made my first bra and shalwar with them. Your collection of vintage dance art is fabulous. I promote music at myspace and since they have enabled the slide player within their format I decided to upload some of them. Viewing my page with Karnivool's song Thermata "it's so good to see, this world is alive" the dancers pictures just made it spectacular. I will be sure to credit you as the source, I know many other dancers in my circle will enjoy it too.
