I think this clip is both unusual and excellent. It's a tap performance, choreographed by The Stripes, used in the finale of Takeshi Kitano's Zatoichi. It's not every day I get to see taiko drumming paired with a huge tap sequence done in kimonos and Mugen slippers.

The shoes in the clip look like modified geta (traditional wooden clogs), designed to be tap-friendly.
