No two doctors agree on what is wrong with it. Here's as best as I can figure. A few years ago, I sprained my foot badly. I have arthritis. Less than a year after that, I got a bad inflammation inside my ankle because of over use (I worked at a Tim Horton's on a concrete floor). A small bone inside my foot keeps moving out of place.
I've had physiotherapy for it, but the pain keeps returning sporadically.
I haven't tried the wand on my feet. I could give it a shot. I think it's tied in partially with my calves. If my calves begin to charlie horse, it's almost always just a day or two before my foot flares up.
I wear a pressure bandage on my foot. It helps a bit.
Too bad you don't have kids; you could get them to wand you for Mother's Day.
So you don't think it's plantar fascitis? The connexion to your calves makes me suspicious. I know that with my foot issue, my achilles tendon is involved. Maybe you need to sleep in one of those boots they use for plantar fascitis...
I do agree with the below comment about exer-bike, elliptical, and inclined treadmill.

I gave myself what I have
diagnosed as plantar fas-
citis a couple of years
back, and it still plagues
me.

I think my foot is just worn out.

had healed. :( It must be
frustrating to still not
know what is wrong.
What about wearing some
sort of foot corset to keep
the bone in place?
How does massage work for
it? The Hitachi Magic Wand
really helps my feet.
